Dollie & Millie – 6-7 year old female Jack Russell cross Pug available for adoption

Dollie & Millie are 6-7 year old female Jack Russell cross Pug. Dollie is around 7 and a Jug (Jack Russell x pug) and Millie is a 6-year-old Pug.

These girls are inseparable, and we are looking for a loving home that will take them together. Dollie likes to take care of Millie and looks out for her, and Millie happily follows her lead.

Dollie and Millie enjoy their daily walks around the park with Dollie taking to ‘talking’ to other dogs before meeting them, which does set Millie off too.

Their foster carer is helping them learn and instilling some good manners and the good news is, they are extremely responsive to reward-based training.

These girls know basic commands but due to their history, they will need help with house training whilst they settle in. They are ok to be left on their own and settle down nicely.

Dollie and Mille are looking for security and would love a family who will give them unlimited cuddles and attention.

They have previously lived with a cat in the home so we will consider them living with a dog-savvy cat. They have also lived with other dogs, but this isn’t a must as they are happy together. Dollie and Mille have previously lived with children, so can be homed with children aged 8+.

Helping Dogs and Cats UK Rescue

Helping Dogs & Cats is a non-profit animal rescue (CIC number1420295) based in Basingstoke and operates in Hampshire, Berkshire, Kent, and Surrey. We rescue dogs, cats and other small animals in need of help.

Our journey began in 2018 when our Founder Kirsty Wrightson established the rescue after losing her beloved dog, Millie. Our work includes rehoming and rehabilitation, veterinary care, microchipping, spaying and neutering. All of the animals that come into our care first go into foster homes for assessment.

Adopting a dog or cat or other animal is a big decision and in most instances, a long-term commitment. To help you answer any questions you may have we have created an FAQ guide. https://helpingdogsandcatsuk.org/faqs-1

Our small team is staffed by volunteers, who are true animal lovers and passionate about animal welfare. We receive no government funding and depend entirely on the generosity of our supporters. Every penny we receive goes directly to helping dogs and cats.

We offer full rescue backup for the life of your adopted animal.
